Northern Ireland’s leading coffee chain, Bob & Berts is set to bring excitement and joy to local children and families this summer as it’s the latest sponsor to join Elmer’s Big Belfast Trail!
Bob and Berts has been a long-time supporter and friend of Northern Ireland Hospice, having raised a whopping £61,000.00 for the charity to date. The Elmer books champion friendship and inclusivity, and we’re so happy to have one of our long-time friends onboard as an official sponsor.
The partnership will see Bob and Berts sponsor its own uniquely-decorated Elmer sculpture that will make up part of the forthcoming trail, which also marks 21 years of care at Children’s Hospice.
As part of the colourful campaign, which kicks off across the city on 20th June, Bob and Berts will be offering their delicious Rainbow cake across all stores in Northern Ireland to customers on that day and asking them to make a donation to Hospice.
Elmer’s Big Belfast Trail is set to be a huge, elephant-sized success this summer, as a herd of 70 Elmer sculptures – inspired by David McKee’s best-selling books, Elmer the Patchwork Elephant – will appear across the city for ten weeks.
The family-friendly event, organised by Northern Ireland Hospice, in partnership with Wild in Art and Andersen Press, will be completely free for everyone to enjoy.
Aine Condron, Marketing Manager at Bob and Berts, said; “We are absolutely delighted to be an official sponsor of Elmer’s Big Belfast Trail in support of Northern Ireland Hospice. The colourful campaign will not only help raise much-needed vital funds for this incredible charity, but it will also bring fun, excitement and joy to the city centre this summer and we’re so excited to a part of it!
Bob and Berts has a longstanding commitment to working within the local community which means that this new partnership is sure to be elephantastic!
